Q: How do you ship Harry London items in the summer?
A: Harry London items may be shipped throughout the year. In order to protect your chocolates during shipping we require 2nd Day Air to certain areas of the country. With the added cost of shipping we will include a free insulated container packaged with frozen reusable gel packs that will keep your chocolate cool during transit. We also offer a 100% guarantee, if you experience any problems with your order we will replace your chocolates free of charge.

From 4/26 until 9/24 Harry London can not ship product to PO Boxes, APO, AE or outside of the continental United States.
  • From 3/15 through 10/22 shipments to AZ, CA, FL, NM, NV and TX require a minimum of Expedited Delivery service (No P.O. Boxes allowed). Appropriate shipping rates apply; please see "How do you determine your shipping and handling costs?" A FREE insulated container will be included with all orders to protect products from high temperatures. Packages can only be shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Q: How do you determine your shipping and handling costs?
A: Shipping and handling cost is based on the dollar amount you spend on our products as well as the shipping method you prefer. Review the chart below for all of our options and their cost. Please note: Shipping & Handling charge is required for each recipient address.

Q: How much is tax?
A: We collect applicable state and local sales tax. Sales tax rates apply to your entire order amount including shipping and handling. When you call by phone we will gladly calculate this for you. IL=6.25%, NY=8.63%

Q: Do you offer international shipping?
A: At this time, shipments outside of the U.S. are only available by calling our Mail Order Sales Center. Our representatives will be happy to guide you through these orders. Please note, from 4/26 - 9/24 we do not ship outside of the United States in accordance with our Summer Shipping Policy.

Q: What if I find a foreign object in a piece of candy or have a medical/dental issue?
A: Any Foreign Object issues/ Medical Claims should be reported immediately to Harry London Customer Service at 1-800-321-0444.

Q: What is the standard shelf life of Harry London candy?
A: Shelf Life of HL product is 6-9 months. The lot code found on items is the Julian Date of Manufacture (year, day of year, 8001 is Jan 1 2008) then we freeze to suspend the shelf life which starts once order is shipped out.

Q: Is nutritional information available?
A: Nutritional information is listed on packaging or can be obtained by calling Harry London Customer Service at 1-800-321-0444.

Q: How should Harry London candy be stored?
A: To store chocolates, it is best to protect from heat, direct sunlight and strong odors. Store at temperatures of 63o-68o and at 50-55% relative humidity.

Q: Can Harry London Chocolates be frozen?
A: To freeze chocolates, store in freezer durable wrap for up to 4-6 months. Let thaw for 24-48 hours before you consume.

Q: Can I purchase Harry London items that are not on the website?
A: Only HL items listed on the website are available online. Limited HL items will be available in our 60 FM retail stores in the Chicagoland area, there are also presently 5 stores in Indiana, 2 in Wisconsin and 1 in Michigan with more to come. You can visit the website at www.fanniemay.com and click on store locator at the bottom of the home page to find the store nearest you.

Q: I am allergic to peanuts, wheat, dairy, etc.?
A: Allergen Statement: Our products are produced on equipment shared with peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs and wheat, and should not be consumed by anyone with these type of allergies.

Q: Are your products Kosher?
A: Many of the products available are Kosher. Kosher products are foods manufactured in a facility that complies with dietary and sanitary requirements of Jewish Law, as well as containing kosher certified ingredients. The majority of products available are called kosher dairy, which means the products contain dairy ingredients such as butter, cream and milk.

Q: I have a donation request
A: Donation requests must be submitted in writing on organizational letterhead and faxed to the Donation Committee at 330-499-6902, or mailed to Harry London Candies at 5353 Lauby Road, N. Canton, OH 44720. Donation requests require a minimum 60 days lead time. Due to the large volume of requests received, we cannot guarantee or honor each request, and a letter will be sent out either approving or rejecting the request, once the committee has reviewed it.

Q: Have your products been affected by the recent peanut butter recall?
A:
Thank you for your concern and inquiry. The safety and well being of our customers is always our first priority. 
 
We have verified that our peanut butter ingredient suppliers are not involved with the current product recall on peanut butter. The products produced at Fannie May Confections Brands, Inc. (under the brands of Fannie May and Harry London Chocolates) are not affected by the current peanut butter recall.   
 
Additionally, all raw material suppliers for Fannie May Confections Brands, Inc. are required to issue a Certificate of Analysis upon receipt which includes pathogen testing results when applicable.

Q: Voluntary and limited recall of Peanut Butter Cream Eggs

Harry London Candies, Inc. announces a voluntary and limited recall of 74 individual units of Harry London Peanut Butter Cream Egg due to an Undeclared Allergen
 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – North Canton, OH. – March 31, 2009 – Harry London today announced it is voluntarily recalling 74 individual units of 3.5 ounce Harry London Peanut Butter Cream because they are not labeled to indicate they contain egg whites. The 74 individual units that are subject to this recall were sold at Cheryl and Company retail stores between January 22nd and March 26th, 2009.   The code date involved with this recall is 9020 1.
 
No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date. Harry London discovered the error during a routine quality control process check. The product is topped with an icing chick decoration that was made with egg whites, which was not stated in the ingredient disclosure label. 
 
Although in all cases the package has an allergen statement indicating the product was manufactured on equipment shared with peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, and wheat,   Harry London is undertaking this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution. This voluntary recall does not affect any other products from Harry London.
 
The product being recalled is a Harry London Peanut Butter Cream 3.5 oz., stock code 1083, and UPC code 2179501083. A photograph of the product is below and also available on our website, www.harrylondon.com, to help with identification.
 
Working in cooperation with FDA, Harry London will also issue an alert through The Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network (www.foodallergy.org). Anyone who has the identified product with this UPC Code in their possession should be aware of this Alert and take appropriate measures. Consumers affected by this Alert should avoid consumption and destroy the product. Consumers with questions may contact Harry London at (330) 494-0833 ext. 193, Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. EST.

Harry London Candies, Inc. announces a voluntary and limited recall of Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars due to an undeclared allergen
 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – North Canton, OH. – December 29, 2009 – Harry London today announced it is voluntarily recalling 3310 individual units of the 4.62 ounce Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars because they have not been labeled to include Wheat, FD&C colors Yellow #5, Red # 40 and Blue #1 as an ingredient.                                               All Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars sold after 28 December 2009 have the correct labeling.
 
No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date. Harry London discovered the error during a routine quality control process check. The product is produced with a Pecan flavored wheat germ nut that is made with wheat and FD&C colorings, which were not stated in the ingredient disclosure label. 
 
Although in all cases the package has an allergen statement indicating the product was manufactured on equipment shared with peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans, milk, eggs, and wheat,   Harry London is undertaking this voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution. This voluntary recall does not affect any other products from Harry London.
 
The product being recalled is the Harry London Chocolate Pecan Caramel Stars Lot code number 9238-1
